CWEPA Memorial Scholarship

CWEPA’s intent is to award scholarships to those applicants majoring in a natural resource related field. Requests by members for scholarship awards must meet the following criteria:
Applications are accepted annually from November 1 to December 31
The recipient must be a natural born or legally adopted child of at least a 5-year member of CWEPA in good standing.
The recipient shall be a high school graduate or GED equivalent.
The recipient shall be a natural resource related major attending or enrolled (first year students) at an accredited college or university.
Applicants majoring in a non-related field may apply but will only be considered if no applications are received from a natural resource field applicant.
Scholarships shall be for undergraduate students only.
The recipient must be considered a full-time student by the institution that they are attending.
Grade point average is yearly. The recipient must adhere to the following standards as a condition of retention of the scholarship:
a. Students must pass at least 12 credit hours each trimester and maintain a grade point average of the following: 2.5 for year one; 2.75 for year two; and 3.0 for years three and four. This rating is based on the 4.0 grade scale.
